Capacity was founded by John Harper in 2025 on a mission to bring accessibility, transparency, and innovation to the live entertainment industry.
John Harper is a veteran concert promoter and live entertainment executive with over 20 years of experience producing and promoting some of the biggest tours and live events in the industry. He has worked on major global and North American tours for legendary artists such as David Gilmour, Genesis, The Rolling Stones, and The Pink Floyd Exhibition, among others.
Most recently, John served as Chief Operating Officer of EMC Presents, a partnership between Eventim and industry icon Michael Cohl, overseeing large-scale tour deals, joint ventures, and strategic growth initiatives. Prior to that, he held key leadership roles at S2BN Entertainment, where he played an instrumental role in touring Broadway productions, high-profile concerts, and immersive live experiences.
With a deep understanding of tour economics, artist relations, and venue operations, John brings a wealth of expertise in live event strategy, dealmaking, and execution at the highest level.
